What these cover

These terms apply to this website and to the SchoolFleet application. Using either means accepting them.

Accounts

Accounts are issued by us to specific people and are not to be shared. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for telling us promptly if you believe someone else has access to it. We may suspend an account that is being misused or that belongs to someone no longer entitled to it.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to gain access to data belonging to other people or companies, interfere with the service's operation, or use it to break the law. Information about students, staff and operations reached through the application is confidential and is not to be disclosed outside the purpose it was given to you for.

Text messages

Agreement to receive text messages is given directly to SchoolFleet and to nobody else. It is asked for on its own, as a separate question with its own yes or no — it is not part of accepting these terms, and accepting these terms does not opt anyone in to anything.

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not carry messages for other businesses, and we do not obtain phone numbers from lead generators, affiliates or any other source.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. The program is described in full in our Text Message Policy, and what we do with your information is in our Privacy Policy.

Availability

We work to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may take it down for maintenance. Operationally critical decisions should not depend on a single automated notification arriving.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as-is, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows when they last changed. Continued use after a change means accepting the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
