This policy explains what SchoolFleet collects, why, and who it is shared with.
What we collect
For staff — drivers, mechanics, office and cleaning personnel — we hold the information needed to employ and schedule them: name, mobile number, email address, work assignments, licence and certification dates, and records of work performed. For customer companies we hold business contact details and billing records.
Text messages
Mobile numbers are collected directly from the people they belong to, who are asked to agree before we text them about anything.
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with anyone.
Mobile numbers are disclosed only to the messaging provider that delivers our messages, acting on our instructions and for no other purpose. Our Text Message Policy describes the program in full, including message frequency, that message and data rates may apply, and how to stop.
How we use it
To schedule and dispatch vehicles and drivers, to keep the safety and maintenance records required of a transportation operator, to sign people in to our systems, and to bill for service. We do not use personal information for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Who else sees it
Service providers who operate parts of our systems on our behalf — hosting, messaging and email delivery — under instructions that limit them to that purpose. Regulators and government agencies where transportation law requires it. Nobody else, unless we are compelled by law.
How long we keep it
Operating and safety records are kept for as long as transportation and employment regulations require, and then deleted. Message logs are kept while they are operationally useful and then removed.
Your choices
You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP. To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, contact us using the details below; we respond to requests we can verify.
Security
Access is limited to people who need it for their job, protected by individual accounts, and transmitted over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
Children
Our systems are for staff and business contacts. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children through this website, and children are not enrolled in our text message program.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
